BJ Richards Flowers serves the wholesale flower trade across Devon & East Cornwall with many generations experience in everything from Weddings, Funerals, Festivals, Demonstrations, Events and general Shop Trade. Based in Cargreen near Saltash in Cornwall we have daily lorry deliveries covering every major area Monday to Friday and the warehouse is open for pre-arraigned collections seven days a week.

We grow a vast array of fresh flowers and foliage at our 10 acre Nursery as well as supporting a network of other local growers both here in Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly and right across England. We are constantly looking for new growers and products here in the UK to add to our range of ‘Home Grown’ flowers which is already one of the largest in the UK.

Like other wholesalers though we also need to import a lot of flowers. We use the Dutch flower auctions in both Rijnsburg & Westland although we do try to import flowers direct from the source and thus use some of the top flower producers all over the world cutting costs, saving the environment and adding to the longevity of the products. We are very proud to be the exclusive supplier of Colombia’s number one Carnation, Spray Carnation and Rose grower and we also import from Ecuador’s top Rose grower and several of the best farms in Israel. In addition we import fresh foliages from Italy and recently took our first ever delivery of flowers from India & Nicaragua! We always try very hard to supply the freshest flowers possible often picking to order and buying to order which we can achieve with daily deliveries to us every day of the week. Our delivery lorries are all temperature controlled and we have four separate storage facilities here enabling us to keep every flower at their optimum storage temperature.
